Assemble Process—10 Point Remodel Program
The ASSEMBLE process has been developed to help homeowners through the remodeling process. We believe that when you plan you plan to succeed and the results will be defined by how well you implemented the plan. It is our strategy for ensuring a project reaches the ultimate goal—your satisfaction!
1. Discovery—Vision & Design
The vision and design begins with the first conversation about your home and continues during our first site visit. We begin with a lifestyle profile which will define your remodeling goals, your style preferences, your vision and future plans for your home. Your ideas are important. We listen to you and will also share some ideas you haven’t thought about.
2. Budget & Planning
Once we have a concept of the project we will discuss budget ranges to help you understand the potential investment required to incorporate the design ideas into your home.
3. Process Review & Retainer
At this meeting we will discuss the entire process in detail and discuss entering into a design retainer that will take us to the next step on the process. Bring your calendar this is where the fun starts!
4. Site Survey—Measure & Draw
Before we can put the designs on paper we will measure your space, review the existing structure to define the construction needs. This will help us create design options for your project based on the targeted budget range.
5. Design Review & Discussions
These meetings are where vision and design merge. This process can take one meeting or it can take several meetings to find the intersection where the design, trends and budget are balanced.
6. Scope of Work Construction Documents
The scope of work and construction contract put the drawings into words and numbers. We prepare the final drawings used in the field to construct your project and obtain permits.
7. Permitting & Selection
While the permits are processed at the city or county, we will work together to finish the final details of the approved design–Appliances selection, tile, flooring, plumbing fixture, paint colors etc.
8. Ground Breaking—Pre-Construction Meeting
Prior to the start of construction we will have an on-site meeting with the team (the team implementing the design) to discuss logistical components of your project.
We work with vendors that think like we do. Our relationships are the extension of our core values and selected for their expertise to fulfill a specific need and budget. Materials and suppliers are thoughtfully considered to maintain quality, budget and ensure we accomplish the project vision. Our resources are selected based on best fit, not what fits the schedule.
9. Construction & Site Walkthroughs
During construction we will continue daily and weekly communication with you. We schedule a series of job site walkthroughs to verify and make adjustments as needed.
10. Warranty and Follow Up
Once your project is complete we will clean and provide a final inspection from the city or county. Assemble provides a one (1) year warranty. Our team members are always available to address any concerns you may have.
When we’re finished—you will miss us just a little bit!
